Connect With God
Through time, worship, prayer, and service
Our gatherings are designed to lead people into authentic worship of God. Prayer, Scripture and God’s Word are at the heart of our time. Children’s Time is a special moment in the service followed by Sunday school.
Join us as we are refreshed, renewed, and empowered by Christ to make a difference in our communities.
Join classes that will help you grow in your faith. Studies are offered year round. You are invited to join us for any group whether you are connected with Spirit Song at this time or not. All are welcome in the great fellowship we share as we dig into God’s word.
We have adult studies meeting after worship on Sundays as well as weekdays and evenings. Check the online calendar, e-newsletter, and bulletin for information about the current studies. We offer Bible studies, book studies, DVD studies, and courses including: Alpha, The Truth Project, GriefShare, Advent Conspiracy, Choosing Joy, etc.
Prayer is the heart of our communication with God and we encourage you to make prayer a consistent part of your spiritual life. We can help, just ask and watch for opportunities to learn more about prayer. You can enter a prayer request online and you’ll be lifted up by our prayer ministry team. We also have an email and Facebook prayer chain. If you are interested in either, or both, of these opportunities contact Pastor Misty, 623-824-1357.
Our prayer life is often taken for granted. We are expected to pray but when do you LEARN how to pray? And how the church? Is prayer assumed or is prayer intentional? Does your prayer ministry consist only of a prayer chain and a pastoral prayer on Sunday? We can help you explore a variety of ways to expand personal and corporate prayer and even how to write a prayer plan to insure it all happens as you envision.
Spend a little time daily with God reading scripture, a short meditation, and prayer. Pray first, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening,” (1 Samuel 3:9) just as Eli taught Samuel as a means of preparing yourself to hear from God in the devotion.
