Making a difference in our communities
We believe that ‘church’ is what we do in our communities and in the world. Together we impact the community as the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus. Join us in making a difference.
Our church collects donations for St. Mary’s Food Bank several times a year and delivers them to the food bank for distribution.

We participate with Peoria Pride, a neighborhood revitalization program, during the cooler months. Peoria identifies neighborhoods where homeowners are unable physically or financially to take care of their homes. The city provides the materials and volunteers give the homes a facelift. Work often includes painting and spreading gravel in the yard.
Incarceration can strain family ties to the breaking point. Prison Fellowship Angel Tree provides an opportunity for local congregations to extend the hope of the Gospel and enfold Angel Tree families into church life through delivering Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents, sending kids to summer camp, facilitating one-day sports camps, and more. This year Spirit Song was able to help over 25 children and their families!
Each year our congregation gathers together in May to participate in the annual Walk for Water. This 6K event, sponsored by World Vision, showcases the need for clean water in developing countries. 6K, a little more than 3.7 miles, is the average distance round trip women and children in the developing world walk for water — water that is often contaminated by life-threatening diseases. This year’s event will take place on May 21, 2022. Join us!
